Today at 15.00h starts the second exit operation of the summer. The Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has already planned a large deployment to meet the 6.9 million road trips that are expected until 24.00h on Monday, August 1.

Remember that, before setting out on a trip, it is advisable not only to check the condition of your vehicle (oil, water, tire levels, etc.) but also your knowledge of the rules of the road. According to DGT estimates, more than 96% of drivers would fail the driver’s license test if they had to take the exam now.

And you, do you think you would approve? Do you remember the meaning of all the signs? What about the speed limits of the different roads? Note also that the exams are now drawn from a bank of 15,000 questions, up from only 800 years ago. Therefore, the degree of difficulty of this theoretical test is now higher.

From DigitalES, Spanish Association for Digitalization, we defend that road safety training -like the rest of the training subjects- can be provided, complemented and updated continuously through digital channels. In this regard, we support the awareness action carried out by the Plataforma de Autoescuelas Digitales (PAD) in defense of greater digital road safety education.
