Maspalomas, December 15, 2022. The three main associations of the technology and digital sector in Spain, Adigital, AMETIC and DigitalES, present at the OECD Digital Economy Ministerial Conference being held this week on the island of Gran Canaria, have joined forces to offer the support of this industry to the implementation of European funds and digitization policies provided for in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

These associations can also make a positive contribution to the coordination of the future Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union, which will face the challenge of strengthening Spain’s role as a European digital power. This was conveyed yesterday to the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, and the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure, María González Veracruz, during a meeting.
