Madrid, July 6, 2022 – The First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, has highlighted the “exponential increase” in public investment in digitalization that has taken place in Spain in the last two years. Specifically, he said, investment has increased ninefold in this period. During the inauguration of the DigitalES Summit 2022 congress, Calviño has advanced an update of the current digital agenda of Spain, with a horizon until 2026 and that will integrate new programs ‘watered’ by the European Next Generation funds such as the PERTE of semiconductors, the language or the ‘Retec’ project.
