Madrid, March 15, 2023 – DigitalES, the Spanish Association for Digitalization, has reached an agreement with the Bertelsmann Foundation to promote STEAM vocations among young Spaniards. Under this collaboration, professionals from the companies that make up the association will be able to participate in the Bertelsmann Foundation’s ‘Companies that inspire‘ initiative, which will include the organization of professional talks in schools, student visits to companies and the recording of inspirational videos about professions.
During the talks, the professionals will explain what their job consists of and what competencies, skills and education are required for that occupation.
Collaborating companies will also be able to receive students in their facilities, through visits or stays of 3 to 5 school days, within the framework of the ‘4ESO+Empresa’ program of the Community of Madrid. These extended stays will be considered as an extracurricular activity and will allow students to go to a real working environment to get to know the company and its different departments and professional profiles in depth.
