Madrid, July 13, 2022 – Just a few days ago, DigitalES, the Spanish Association for Digitalization, made public its update of vacancies in the national technology sector: 120,400 unfilled positions, which represents a 70% increase in one year. Among the causes, a digital economy that is growing much faster than the training system is able to provide. The underlying cause is a general lack of awareness of the variety of occupations offered by this industry and, as a consequence, latent ICT vocations, to which leading technology companies have dedicated their interventions during the DigitalES Summit 2022 congress.
