Why, if Spain is a leading country in connectivity, is it not also a leading country in digitalization, R&D&I and competitiveness? In addition to telecommunications networks, what other differentiating resources do we have and how can digital transformation maximize their potential?

From DigitalES -Spanish Association for Digitalization- we wanted to investigate which technological areas represent a greater competitive advantage for Spain and, therefore, can generate a greater impact in the short term on the competitiveness of our country. This non-exhaustive selection has been drawn up based on the knowledge of our associates, as part of their commitment to the recovery of the Spanish economy.

Through 8 content pills, we review some of the opportunities within our reach to differentiate ourselves in the semiconductor industry, to extract greater value from the great talent that exists in areas such as cloud development and architecture, augmented reality or supercomputing, and to consolidate Spain as a country at the international forefront in healthcare, medical research, precision agriculture and urban management.
